Nikki grew up in Pickerington, Ohio. She learned to ski at five from her dad at Holiday Vally in New York on their annual vacations. Her nana was a very talented seamstress, and her mom is an avid quilter. From them both she obtained a love of fabrics and textiles. Nikki played competitive soccer all growing up and was voted most artistic her senior year. She graduated with a degree in Interior Architecture from Ohio University. After college, Nikki worked at a high-end residential firm, but then fell out of design. She worked at an all-girls camp in Maine as their woodworking counselor in the summers and as the Director of The Children’s Ski Program at Snowtrails, a small family-owned ski resort, in Ohio in the winters. Nikki pushed her love for the arts into flipping seven tin can campers and watercolor paintings. She moved out to Avon in September of 2021 in search of bigger mountains to ski and is thankful to have found her way back into design at Zehren in the summer of 2024. Nikki lives full time in a built-out sprinter van with her puppy, Quinton. She’s extremely passionate about colors, camping, poetry, stand-up comedy, tiny living, and learning.
