The Chongli Thaiwoo Hyatt Place is a four-star hotel with 136 keys totaling 10,900 square meters. The resort hotel includes the lobby, ski-related retail, a ski school, skier services, and indoor pool along the pedestrian street level, with restaurants and guest rooms above. Zehren worked with Hyatt Group on both the Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place to design buildings that work well with their respective sites and strengthen the concepts of pedestrian scale, context, and natural materials. The building features gently pitched roof forms that step with the site and is clad with stone veneer, wood trim, wood siding, and stucco.
