The Cordillera Valley Club (CVC) Golf Clubhouse and associated “Chaparral” Restaurant form the centerpiece of the prestigious Valley Club, which boasts the renown Tom Fazio golf course.
The architecture exemplifies the Colorado Territorial Style that evolved through the preparation of Design Guidelines for the community, which were authored by Zehren and Associates. The building features heavy timber framing, stone foundation walls, and additive forms that create patios and terraces overlooking the expansive mountain views. The building evokes a contemporary image of the earlier American West.
Zehren and Associates also designed an addition and remodel to the clubhouse as part of a revisioning project known as “Wildhorse.”
