Deer Crest is a private ski resort community located at the western edge of Deer Valley Ski Resort, with spectacular views to the Jordanelle Reservoir. Zehren's village planning role to date involves the conceptual design of residential, commercial, and gondola link amenities at five distinct locations throughout Deer Crest, with the primary focus on the Jordanelle Base Area. The Jordanelle Village is comprised of approximately 600,000 SF of residential space, 80,000 SF of commercial space, affordable employee residences, and a 400-unit parking structure. The base area also includes an ice rink, climbing wall, hotel with restaurant and pool, and owner's club. The other four areas studied by Zehren and Associates include two enclaves of ski-in/ ski-out townhomes along a creek drainage, ski-in/ ski-out condominium buildings at the intersection of two ski runs, and a new mountaintop restaurant, the “Baldy Restaurant.”
The project is currently in the village plan conceptual design phase and includes a total of five village areas located throughout the mountain.
