The Gore Creek Streambank Enhancement and Stabilization project aims to improve the health and habitat of Gore Creek near Vail, CO by providing riparian vegetation and upland species. Zehren and Associates developed a plan for tree and shrub plantings above and along the south stream bank of the Gore Creek. The goal is to provide vegetation cover and root structure to help stabilize the stream bank and to improve stream health through the incorporation of a mosaic of ecologically appropriate riparian tree and shrub species.
