The Island Lake Resort Hotel is located within a dramatic alpine setting in the Canadian Rockies. Zehren and Associates provided development programming, site analysis, master planning, and architectural design for the hotel and the entire resort village. The plan includes a pedestrian-oriented village with the anchor hotel, additional lodging, retail shops, restaurants, direct skier access, and careful preservation of the adjacent creek and surrounding mountain forest.
