Manor Vail South Pool and Restaurant Deck

Zehren and Associates was tasked with upgrading the aesthetics, functionality, and accessibility of the South Pool at Manor Vail Lodge, as well as the adjacent outdoor seating for the newly rebranded “Ridge + River Mountainside Kitchen.”  The south pool was the last original component at Manor Vail and was updated to match the quality aesthetic of the property.  The pool and deck were raised to the ground level of the restaurant, allowing for improved accessibility and direct interaction with the restaurant.  The new pool now engages and acts as a complementary amenity to the overall property, which includes new landscaping, a fire pit, and waterfall feature, all of which improve the user experience and aesthetic of the pool.  The front of the restaurant was squared off to expand seating and provide a large sliding glass opening for indoor/outdoor flow.  The project also included a retractable shade canopy and new fire pit to improve the year-round comfort of guests.  Combined, these improvements provide a major upgrade to the restaurant and pool experience and allow for special events and weddings to take full advantage of all the Manor Vail amenities and to the neighboring Golden Peak at Vail.
