Linking Sutton Place and the Mountain Plaza is a natural creek and stream walk that has been designed to allow pedestrians better access to the creek and connectivity to a larger trail network within the village. This stream corridor has historically been neglected and negatively impacted by previous mining operations.
In an effort to restore and enhance the riparian environment along this section of stream, we have taken great care in selecting native plants and worked with a stream restoration expert to improve the fish habitat. The culmination of the Plaza, Streetscape, and Stream improvements have greatly enhanced the core village area and created a much need vibrancy that enriches the spirit of Taos Ski Valley.
