The Sebastian Hotel (formerly Vail Plaza Hotel) is located east of the main Vail round-about, and is a full-service hotel that serves as an anchor to one of the most densely-developed areas in Vail Village. The building’s lodging spaces consist of one residence, 100 hotel rooms, 50 fractional-fee club units, and 18 employee housing units. Two restaurants, a lounge, retail space, conference facilities, and an indoor / outdoor pool and spa are also located within the hotel.
The design of The Sebastian Hotel is intended to respect the existing aesthetic of the surrounding buildings and plazas, while providing a unique identity that will establish a recognizable and vital hospitality contribution to the community. Sited on the main entrance to Vail, the building presents one of the first impressions of Vail Village and acts as a welcoming “beacon” for visitors to the community.
