Born in Phoenix, Arizona, but quickly moving to Denver, Colorado, Jackson grew up in the city not far from the Cherry Creek Mall. Following in his father's footsteps, Jackson attended college at the University of Kansas, where he received his Bachelors in Architecture and Design. After graduating in the summer of 2022, Jackson moved up to the Vail Valley to work for Zehren and Associates to begin to pursue his dream in becoming a licensed architect. Jackson first fell in love with the profession on his trip overseas to Asia, where he and his father walked around all of Tokyo and Shanghai, looking at all the impressive feats of architecture that made up the built environment around them. Being influenced by some of his favorite architects like Mies Van Der Rohe and Santiago Calatrava, Jackson's architectural belief is that each innovative design must come from its cultural context, conveying traditional sensibility through modern architecture to create truly inspiring works. Besides creating beautiful buildings for the Vail Valley, Jackson spends his free time snowboarding the bowls of the various ski resorts in the area or cheering on his two favorite basketball teams, The Kansas Jayhawks and the Denver Nuggets.
