Originally from Minnesota and on track to become a civil engineer, Tim saw the creative side of design in Landscape Architecture and transferred into the program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With a long standing plan to settle west after graduation, he married his high school sweetheart and made the move. After 15 years of experience with various design firms and 5 years of contract employment with Zehren & Associates, Tim joined the Landscape Architecture and Land Planning team full time in 2018.
Tim has worked on a number of notable projects with Zehren & Associates, including: Gerald R Ford Amphitheater Courtyard Expansion in Vail, Colorado, Lionshead Parking Structure Entry in Vail, Colorado, EagleVail Parks Master Plan in EagleVail, Colorado and Durango Mesa Area Plan in Durango, Colorado. Tim has a wide range of experience ranging from detailed planting design and construction documentation to large scale site design and planning projects with a mix of everything in between and he enjoys this variety of work that comes with the profession.
Along with his wife Jess, 10 year old son Palmer and dog Myles, Tim has called Avon, Colorado home for 14 years. With unlimited access to open spaces and recreation opportunities, there seems little reason to wander.
